Mixed Berry Sauce

Serves: Makes about 1 quart
Ingredients
  • 1 cupĀ each: raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and sliced strawberries
  • 6 tablespoons agave
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
  1. Bring berries, agave, zest, and ½ cup water in a small Dutch oven. When mixture starts to simmer, whisk in cornstarch mixture. Continue to simmer until mixture thickens to sauce consistency. Let stand and serve warm as a sauce for pancakes or waffles or refrigerate and serve chilled over ice cream or yogurt.
