Welcome to the Share our Holiday Table event! Along with dozens of other bloggers, ThreeManyCooks is delighted to invite you over for a virtual progressive dinner.
I believe you’re here for a drink, yes?
I love Christmas for many reasons, but mainly because it’s that time of year where we get to be a bit more naughty than nice when it comes to food and drink. In the case of this delicious Milk Punch, we’ve turned a nice milkshhake into a naughty adult milkshake! Milk, sugar, dark rum, brandy and vanilla are all that goes into this delicious holiday cocktail. The dark rum and brandy will warm your insides as the sweet, icy milk cools you down.
If you’ve got little ones running around (we don’t…yet!) try this Quick Mulled Cider. Your kids will love that they have a special holiday drink too.
Now that we’ve all had a drink, let’s talk about something important. Share our Strengths needs our help to ensure that no child in the United States goes hungry. It is their goal to completely eradicate child hunger by the year 2015. But they can only do that with our help. Even just $1 can help connect a child to 10 healthy meals.
We are all truly blessed; take a moment to remember those whose holiday table will not be full like ours this holiday season and make a donation today or consider purchasing their holiday gift cards this year.

Love slushy cocktails – this reminds me a bit of the old fashioned Brandy Alexander. Yum. Great drinks, great cause!

Oh my! Now this is my kind of punch to enjoy while sitting by the fire, with no place to go (I’m not getting behind the wheel after one of these naughty treats).
Aimee @ Simple Bites says
OK, I’ve learned something today! Love this flavor profile and boozy blend; sounds incredible.

Yowza! Can we tell the kids these are slushees? Oh wait, then they’d want one! Not a good idea, well then again …. hmmmm.
Shirley @ gfe says
I almost made milk punch for my post, too, but then decided I needed to share another favorite punch, which is also an adult one. 😉 Your milk punch looks and sounds divine! Like everyone else, I love the slushiness factor … it’s making me think of yet another adult drink, those dangerous mudslides (pun intended).
I’m so happy to be part of this wonderful event with you and all the others. I truly hope it makes a big impact this holiday season. BTW, I met Pam at her book signing before BlogHer Food and saw her again there, but unfortunately didn’t get to meet you other two who make up the three many cooks. 🙁 Now I am staying tuned for the potluck event hoping to get in! Fingers crossed!
Happy holidays!

I’m so glad to see that this is a cold milk drink. I was afraid it would be warm, and I can’t do warm milk! Anyway, it looks good!! Thank you for sharing. It’s great to work with you for Share Our Strength!
