Whether it’s a cup of tea and a cookie, a late-afternoon walk, or quick latte break, we believe it’s important to pause for a few minutes each day. Not only is it a way we care for ourselves, it’s also smart. As Maggy has rightly observed, those quiet moments are often “a place where I find my greatest inspiration.”
To demonstrate how much we believe in the importance of this daily ritual, we’re offering tea baskets to two winners, complete with an antique mug (courtesy of Mechanic St. Mugs in New Hope, PA), tea infuser, a generous supply of Earl Grey tea (our favorite) and a sweet treat made by Three Many Cooks.
Simply complete the following sentence, “Each day I take (or would like to take) care of myself by…”
The deadline is 6 PM ET this Sunday, January 31. Winners will be announced no later than 6 PM ET on Monday, February 1.
We’ve got a great Valentine’s giveaway planned in a few weeks, and for those not following us elsewhere, check us out on Facebook (where there are more photos of us cooks in action) and also on Twitter.
Take Care!
2/1/2010 Courtesy of Random.Org, our Tea Time Giveaway winners are #6 Liz, who takes care of herself by “reflecting on my blessings,” and #65 Amber who takes time to read. We’ll be in touch for your address. Thank you all for participating.
