Another drink we were supposed to demonstrate in the day we shot the video, but since we lost power, the blender didn’t work and it never happened (Boy, were we disappointed!)
Makes 8 6-ounce drinks
2 quarts ice cubes
1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade
1 12-ounce limeade can filled with tequila
1/4 cup (2 jiggers) Cointreau, or other orange-flavored liqueur
Optional margarita or kosher salt for the rims and half lime slices
Working in 2 batches, place 1 quart ice cubes in a blender canister. Add 1/2 can limeade, 1/2 can tequila, and 2 tablespoons Cointreau. Blend at highest speed until drink is almost smooth. Pour into a pitcher and repeat with remaining ingredients. Store in the freezer.
If salting glass rims, pour a single layer of salt on a salad plate. Moisten each glass rim with lime; dip each rim in the salt. Pour frozen margaritas into each glass, garnish with lime and serve immediately.

Sounds lovely on these brutally hot days.

You know, with temps reaching the mid-90s and humidity at more than 50 percent, I think I’m about due for one of these!

My friend gave me this recipe years ago. It’s our go-to recipe for Margaritas. Only ‘problem’ is that it makes so much and there are only two of us! That’s a problem….right?
