What a perfect way to use up all the extra strawberries flooding the market these days! Florida and California strawberry harvests coincided this season due to weather, so the market is saturated which means low prices on juicy berries. Yay!

Sometimes the simplest dishes, with the best ingredients, are the best. This definitely fits into that category.

Dear Strawberry love,
Yay! I l am crazy for strawberry recipes, and this looks like a yummy one to try. Wish I had old-fashioned oats, tho, I have heard they are better for dishes like this.

Made this for church potluck, and it was a big hit. I was a little short on strawberries, so I threw in some thawed blueberries I’d had sitting in the freezer. Yum! Only thing missing was the ice cream!
